Fall 2024 Homecoming
Show your blue and gold pride as you reconnect with old friends, create new memories and immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of SEU Homecoming from October 27–November 3. Preparations are underway for an exciting week of hilltop pride. Festivities will include a Tailgate and Hilltopper Athletics competitions, student team events for the Topper Cup challenge, our Homecoming Parade across campus, and much more! New FAFSA Updates!
The 2025–2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available to the public on or before December 1, 2024. More information will be made available once the Department of Education announces a specific date. In the meantime, learn how to prepare for the 25–26 FAFSA form. Questions? Advising and Registration
Heads up, Hilltoppers! October is the time to review courses with your success coach and/or faculty advisor. And November 7–12 is the time to register for your Spring 2025 courses. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors are assigned specific days to register. Follow these important steps to get advised in October so you’re ready to sign up in November on myHilltop for your Spring classes.
Election Day Voting at St. Edward’s
Mark your calendar! Early voting in Texas for the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election begins next Monday, October 21 and ends on Friday, November 1.
Students will have access to complimentary shuttle services from the university to a designated early voting site in South Austin on select dates. Visit Toppers Vote for shuttle service information during the early voting period and details on Election Day voting in UFCU Alumni Gym at St. Edward’s.
Spring and Fall 2025 Housing
Living on campus connects you more closely to your hilltop family and all campus resources, support services and activities. It also saves commuting time and money. If you are not currently living on campus, the Spring 2025 housing application is now open via the Current Students Housing task in myHilltop.
It's not too soon to start planning for Fall 2025 campus housing selection, starting in January 2025. If you have any questions please review our online housing sign-up process. Please note, if you are thinking about living off campus during your freshman or sophomore year you need to complete the housing exemption request form in the housing portal.

St. Edward’s University has advanced to No. 5 in the U.S. News & World Report 2025 rankings for Best Regional Universities in the West, further strengthening its position in the region and higher education.
In addition to advancing from #6 to #5 for its overall ranking, St. Edward’s rose in the rankings from #5 to #3 in the Best Value Schools in the West category based on the institution’s academic quality and cost. Furthermore, U.S. News again ranked the university #4 in the Best Colleges for Veterans category and #7 as a top-performing institution for Social Mobility!
